A5 Base vs S line vs S5 Front Bumper Fitment
Front-end upgrades require another important check: the original bumper specification. An A5 Base bumper is not the same application as an A5 S line or S5 sport bumper. This is why this collection contains separate front lip designs for the A5 Base and for selected A5 S line / S5 models.
Before choosing a front lip, compare the lower center opening, outer bumper corners and complete lower edge with the product photos. Do not rely only on the model badge or registration year. Previous bumper replacement, S line conversions or other exterior modifications can change the actual part required.
Coupe, Sportback and Convertible Spoiler Fitment
Rear spoiler selection is primarily determined by body style. The A5 and S5 family includes very different rear profiles, and a spoiler designed around a Coupe trunk lid should not be assumed to fit a Sportback hatch or Convertible deck lid.
For Coupe models, check the shape and curvature of the trunk edge. Sportback owners should confirm that the spoiler follows the wider hatch profile, while Convertible applications require a part designed around the shorter rear deck and folding-roof body structure. Side Skirts and the B8 Coupe Profile
Side skirts can add more visual weight to the lower body and connect front and rear exterior upgrades, but fitment depends on the rocker-panel length and body configuration. Selected products in this collection are specifically listed for two-door A5 S line and S5 applications, so four-door or different-body-style compatibility should not be assumed unless the product page confirms it.
When combining a front lip, side skirts and rear spoiler, keeping a similar visual thickness and carbon finish helps preserve the B8’s original flowing proportions. For many owners, a restrained OEM+ combination suits the first-generation A5 better than adding unrelated aggressive elements to every exterior surface.
Carbon Fiber Finish and Installation
Material and installation method vary by product. Some spoilers are available in carbon fiber or FRP configurations, while other exterior pieces use the construction and finish specified on the individual listing. Check weave pattern, surface finish and installation method if you plan to combine several components on the same vehicle.
Always test-fit exterior parts before final installation. For front lips and side skirts, verify panel contact, screw locations and ground clearance first.
