2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 Carbon Fiber Parts

The 2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 introduced one of Audi’s most distinctive early modern coupe designs, combining a low, flowing profile with clean body surfaces and a strong shoulder line. The first-generation A5’s restrained styling makes exterior upgrades especially noticeable, while the A5 Base, S line and S5 use different bumper treatments that should be considered before selecting body-mounted parts.

This collection brings together selected 2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 carbon fiber parts, including front lip options, side skirts and rear spoilers for specific Coupe, Sportback and Convertible applications. Rather than treating every B8 A5 or S5 as identical, each part should be matched to the vehicle’s original bumper, trim level and body style.

Before ordering, confirm whether your vehicle is an A5 Base, A5 S line or S5, and check whether the product is designed for Coupe, Sportback or Convertible bodywork. Some spoiler and side-skirt applications may also span B8 and B8.5 years, while front bumper parts require closer generation and bumper matching. 2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 Carbon Fiber Parts & Fitment Guide

The first-generation Audi A5 introduced a clean, flowing design that still gives the B8 platform a distinctive appearance today. Compared with later A5 generations, the early B8 uses softer body surfacing and a less angular exterior, so well-proportioned carbon fiber upgrades tend to work best when they follow the original lower bumper, sill and rear body lines rather than overpowering them.

This collection focuses on selected 2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 carbon fiber parts for pre-facelift applications. Current products include front lips for different bumper configurations, side skirts for selected two-door models, and several rear spoiler designs for Coupe, Sportback and Convertible body styles. Because these parts attach to different areas of the vehicle, the most important fitment check is not always the same for every product.

B8 Pre-Facelift vs B8.5: Why the Generation Matters

The B8 and later B8.5 belong to the same first-generation A5 family, but exterior updates mean that bumper-mounted parts should not automatically be treated as interchangeable. This is particularly important when choosing a front lip, where the lower bumper shape, corners and mounting surface determine whether the part follows the vehicle correctly.

Some side skirts and rear spoilers can cover a wider 2008–2016 range because the relevant body or mounting area may remain compatible across selected B8 and B8.5 applications. Always follow the individual product fitment rather than assuming that a part fits both generations simply because the overall body shape looks similar. Owners of later facelift models should also check our 2012–2016 Audi A5 / S5 B8.5 collection.

A5 Base vs S line vs S5 Front Bumper Fitment

Front-end upgrades require another important check: the original bumper specification. An A5 Base bumper is not the same application as an A5 S line or S5 sport bumper. This is why this collection contains separate front lip designs for the A5 Base and for selected A5 S line / S5 models.

Before choosing a front lip, compare the lower center opening, outer bumper corners and complete lower edge with the product photos. Do not rely only on the model badge or registration year. Previous bumper replacement, S line conversions or other exterior modifications can change the actual part required.

Coupe, Sportback and Convertible Spoiler Fitment

Rear spoiler selection is primarily determined by body style. The A5 and S5 family includes very different rear profiles, and a spoiler designed around a Coupe trunk lid should not be assumed to fit a Sportback hatch or Convertible deck lid.

For Coupe models, check the shape and curvature of the trunk edge. Sportback owners should confirm that the spoiler follows the wider hatch profile, while Convertible applications require a part designed around the shorter rear deck and folding-roof body structure. The product title and fitment notes should take priority over a visually similar spoiler shown on another A5 or S5.

Side Skirts and the B8 Coupe Profile

Side skirts can add more visual weight to the lower body and connect front and rear exterior upgrades, but fitment depends on the rocker-panel length and body configuration. Selected products in this collection are specifically listed for two-door A5 S line and S5 applications, so four-door or different-body-style compatibility should not be assumed unless the product page confirms it.

When combining a front lip, side skirts and rear spoiler, keeping a similar visual thickness and carbon finish helps preserve the B8’s original flowing proportions. For many owners, a restrained OEM+ combination suits the first-generation A5 better than adding unrelated aggressive elements to every exterior surface.

Carbon Fiber Finish and Installation

Material and installation method vary by product. Some spoilers are available in carbon fiber or FRP configurations, while other exterior pieces use the construction and finish specified on the individual listing. Check weave pattern, surface finish and installation method if you plan to combine several components on the same vehicle.

Always test-fit exterior parts before final installation. For front lips and side skirts, verify panel contact, screw locations and ground clearance first. For trunk or roof spoilers, confirm the contact surface and alignment across the full width before applying adhesive or permanent mounting hardware.

Confirm Your Audi A5 / S5 B8 Before Ordering

This page is intended for selected 2008–2011 Audi A5 / S5 B8 pre-facelift exterior upgrades, but not every product fits every vehicle within that range. Before ordering, confirm the model year, A5 Base / S line / S5 trim, body style and the exact installation area shown in the product listing.

If your car uses the later B8.5 exterior, review the corresponding facelift collection before purchasing. For other A5 and S5 generations, browse the full Audi A5 / S5 collection. If you are unsure about fitment, send your vehicle year and clear photos of the front, side or rear installation area through our Fitment Support.
