Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for the R8 Type 4S Facelift
The side profile is one of the Audi R8’s most distinctive features. Its forward cabin, wide rear bodywork, large side intake and signature sideblade visually emphasize the car’s mid-engine layout.

These smaller upgrades are particularly suitable for R8s already equipped with factory carbon exterior details. Carbon fiber naturally complements the dark grille openings, sideblade area and other contrasting elements already present in the R8’s design.
For mirror covers and vent components, also check whether the product is an add-on cover or a full-replacement part. These two constructions may look similar once installed but use different mounting methods and may have different fitment requirements.
Coupe, Spyder and Model-Year Fitment
The facelift-generation R8 was available in both Coupe and Spyder body styles, with different V10, performance, quattro and rear-wheel-drive configurations offered depending on market and model year.
When purchasing exterior parts, “Audi R8 Gen2” alone is usually not enough information to confirm compatibility. Before ordering, we recommend confirming:

A subtle spoiler can retain an OEM-inspired appearance, while a larger wing can move the build toward a more aggressive track-oriented style.
The most important factor is keeping the individual components visually and physically compatible with the specific facelift configuration rather than simply choosing parts labeled for a general second-generation R8.
