A deep front splitter paired with an otherwise standard body may look unbalanced, while combining a front lip, subtle side skirt extensions and a compatible rear diffuser can create a more continuous lower-body profile. Confirm the Generation, Body Style and Factory Bumper
Start with the vehicle generation. Parts for the 2008–2014 Audi TT / TTS MK2 should not be as sumed to fit the later2015+ Audi TT / TTS MK3. Even within the same generation, TT, TT S line and TTS models can use different front bumpers, rear valances, side-sill shapes and exhaust arrangements.
Coupe and Roadster body styles may also differ around the rear deck, roof and spoiler mounting area. Before choosing a rear spoiler, check whether the vehicle has the factory retractable spoiler, a fixed wing or previous aftermarket modifications. For rear diffusers, confirm both the bumper design and exhaust outlet layout. A diffuser shaped for the TTS quad-tip exhaust should not be selected only because the model year appears correct.
Consider Daily Driving Before Choosing an Aggressive Style
The TT already sits relatively low, so front-lip depth matters for vehicles used on steep driveways, parking ramps, speed bumps or uneven roads. Aggressive splitters create a stronger visual change, but a shallower lip may be more practical for a daily-driven car. Side skirts and diffuser fins should also be checked for ground clearance and mounting support before installation.
Installation requirements vary. Some exterior trims use automotive adhesive, while larger lips, diffusers and wings may require screws, brackets, undertray access or professional adjustment. Always test-fit the part before drilling, applying adhesive or removing protective film. Do not assume that every TT, TTS or RS-style component is a direct interchangeable replacement.
