2017–2019 Audi RS4 B9 Avant Carbon Fiber Parts

The 2017–2019 Audi RS4 B9 Avant combines the practicality of an Avant with a distinctly wider RS body. Compared with the A4 Avant, its flared wheel arches extend 30 mm farther on each side, while the RS honeycomb front intakes and wide Singleframe grille give the car a lower, more muscular appearance. This collection focuses on carbon fiber upgrades that complement those factory RS details without changing the character of the original design.

Current Audi RS4 B9 carbon fiber parts include replacement-style mirror covers and selected front lip options. When choosing mirror covers, check whether your vehicle is equipped with lane change assist. For front-end parts, bumper identification is especially important because Audi introduced a significant RS4 exterior update in late 2019, and front lips should not be selected by model year alone.

2017–2019 Audi RS4 B9 Carbon Fiber Parts & Fitment Guide

The B9-generation Audi RS4 is more than an A4 Avant with an RS badge. Audi gave the RS4 Avant a much stronger exterior identity, including enlarged RS honeycomb air intakes, a wide and flat Singleframe grille and wheel arches that extend 30 mm farther on each side than the standard A4 Avant. At the rear, the factory design is completed by an RS-specific diffuser, oval exhaust outlets and a roof-edge spoiler.

Those proportions are important when choosing exterior upgrades. Carbon fiber parts tend to work best on the RS4 when they follow the existing RS lines rather than covering them. A front lip can add definition beneath the already aggressive front bumper, while carbon fiber mirror covers add a smaller visual accent that works with the wide fenders and other factory black or carbon details.

Choosing Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers for the RS4 B9

Mirror covers are one of the easiest ways to introduce visible carbon fiber without changing the overall shape of the RS4. The replacement-style mirror covers in this collection replace the original outer housings rather than simply attaching another shell over the factory cover.

The most important check is whether your vehicle has lane change assist. Different mirror-cover configurations are required depending on the sensor and indicator arrangement, so select the correct version rather than relying only on the vehicle year. Compare the opening and shape of your original mirror housing with the product photos before installation.

Check the Front Bumper Before Choosing an RS4 Front Lip

Front lip fitment requires more attention than mirror-cover fitment. Audi introduced a major exterior update to the RS4 Avant in late 2019, including a redesigned front section. This means an RS4 described simply as “2019” should not automatically be assumed to use the same front bumper as every other B9 RS4.

Before ordering a carbon fiber front lip, compare the grille, lower bumper openings, corner shapes and mounting surface with the product photos. This is especially important for vehicles built around the transition between the original B9 design and the later updated RS4.

If the bumper has previously been replaced, repaired or modified, use its actual shape rather than the registration year as the final fitment reference.

Why the RS4 Avant Body Shape Matters

The B9 RS4 was designed exclusively around the high-performance Avant concept, combining a long roofline with dramatically widened wheel arches and RS-specific front and rear details. That makes proportion especially important when modifying the car. Extremely oversized add-on pieces can compete with the factory wide-body appearance, while parts that follow the original bumper and mirror lines tend to create a more integrated result.

For an OEM+ build, carbon mirror covers are a subtle starting point. A correctly matched front lip creates a stronger change by visually extending the lower edge of the RS bumper and making the front stance appear lower. Owners building a more complete carbon theme can then match the weave and gloss level with other exterior components over time.

Carbon Fiber Finish and Installation

The products in this collection use their own listed carbon fiber construction and installation method, so check the individual product page before purchasing. Replacement mirror covers and front lips do not necessarily install in the same way, and the required hardware or mounting points can vary.

Before final installation, test-fit the part and check panel gaps, mounting locations and clearance on both sides. For front lips, also consider everyday ground clearance around driveways, ramps and parking curbs, especially if the RS4 has been lowered.

Confirm Your RS4 B9 Fitment Before Ordering

This collection is intended for selected Audi RS4 B9 Avant carbon fiber upgrades. Because some mirror components can be shared across other B9 Audi models while front bumper parts are much more generation-specific, always use the fitment information on the individual product page as the final reference.

If you are unsure about compatibility, send us your vehicle year and clear photos of the relevant area through our Fitment Support. For later RS4 models with the updated front design, browse our Audi RS4 B9.5 collection.
