Material & Finish FAQ

Are your products made of real carbon fiber?

Yes. AHACARBON parts are made with genuine carbon fiber material, not carbon-look plastic or simple ABS wraps.

Depending on the product type, we use carbon fiber materials such as T300 / T700 and apply production methods such as vacuum infusion or autoclave curing to support strength, consistency, and a premium finish.

What is forged carbon fiber?

Forged carbon fiber is a premium carbon fiber finish made with chopped carbon fiber strands instead of a traditional woven carbon pattern. It creates a random, marble-like texture that gives each part a more aggressive and unique appearance.

Unlike standard 2x2 or 3x3 twill carbon fiber, forged carbon does not have a uniform weave direction. Natural pattern variation is normal and should not be considered a defect.

Forged carbon fiber is not a printed carbon-look surface. It uses real carbon fiber material combined with resin and finished with a protective clear coat.

What finishes are available?

Most AHACARBON products are available in selected finish options depending on the product and vehicle model:

  • Gloss carbon fiber
  • Matte carbon fiber
  • 3x3 twill weave carbon fiber
  • Forged carbon fiber

Will the carbon fiber fade or turn yellow?

AHACARBON products are finished with a UV-resistant clear coat to help protect against fading, yellowing, and discoloration under normal use.

Long-term surface condition can still be affected by climate, sunlight exposure, cleaning chemicals, and maintenance habits. We recommend using proper car care products and avoiding harsh chemicals on carbon fiber surfaces.


Fitment & Installation FAQ

Will this part fit my car?

Our products are developed with vehicle-specific fitment in mind. Many carbon fiber parts are designed for exact model years, trims, body styles, facelift versions, or chassis codes.

Parts are developed using 3D scanning and CNC-milled molds based on the original vehicle, designed for direct bolt-on installation using factory mounting points with no or minimal modification.

Please check the product title, fitment notes, photos, and listing details before ordering. If you are unsure, contact us with your vehicle year, model, trim, body style, and product link before purchase.

Do AHACARBON parts use factory mounting points?

Many products are designed to follow the original vehicle shape and use factory-style mounting areas where applicable. Some parts may require adhesive, screws, clips, or professional adjustment depending on the product type.

Front lips, rear diffusers, side skirts, mirror caps, spoilers, hoods, and wings may have different installation requirements. Always review the product details before installation.

Do I need professional installation?

We recommend professional installation for most carbon fiber exterior parts, especially larger items such as front lips, rear diffusers, side skirts, hoods, and wings.

Professional installation helps reduce fitment issues, installation damage, and alignment problems.


Shipping & Customs FAQ

How fast will my order ship?

Processing and production time depends on whether the product is in stock or made to order.

  • In-stock items: usually processed within 2–5 business days.
  • Made-to-order items: production time is usually 10–15 business days before shipping.
  • Delivery time: depends on the destination country, carrier, package size, and customs clearance.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship carbon fiber parts to many international destinations, including the United States, Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia, and other supported regions.

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided where available.

Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

These charges are not controlled by AHACARBON and are usually the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your local import policy before placing an order.


Returns, Damage & After-Sales FAQ

What if the part arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the package, shipping label, damaged area, and full product.

Our team will review the situation and provide the next support steps based on the order details and damage condition.

What if the part does not fit?

If you believe there is a fitment issue, please contact us before modifying or installing the part permanently. Send photos, your vehicle information, product link, and order details so our team can review the issue.

Fitment support depends on the product condition, installation process, vehicle version, and whether the part matches the listed application.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Returns or exchanges may be accepted within the eligible return period if the item is unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in original condition with proper packaging.

Custom-made, special-order, installed, modified, or damaged-by-installation products may not be eligible for return. Please review our Refund Policy before placing your order.
