Honda Civic and Civic Type R Exterior Upgrades

Honda Civic exterior parts can differ significantly between the 10th Gen and 11th Gen, as well as between Sedan, Coupe and Hatchback body styles. A front lip or trunk spoiler designed for a Civic Sedan should not automatically be assumed to fit a Coupe or Hatchback, even when the vehicles are from a similar production period.

Standard Civic and Civic Type R models also use different bumpers, side profiles, rear hatch areas and factory aerodynamic components. Type R parts may include carbon fiber front lips, rear diffusers, side skirts, bumper splitters, trunk spoilers and roof spoilers developed for specific generations. FK8 and FL5 Type R parts are not generally interchangeable unless both generations are clearly listed in the product fitment.

Honda Accord and Odyssey Exterior Accessories

Selected Honda Accord exterior upgrades include front bumper lips, trunk spoilers and other styling components for specific model years. Accord fitment can change after a facelift or bumper update, so the original front bumper, trunk shape and production year should be confirmed before ordering.

Honda Odyssey products may use different materials and installation methods from the carbon fiber components offered for Civic or Type R models. Depending on the selected item, available options may include real carbon fiber, prepreg dry carbon fiber, carbon fiber with a supporting structure or glossy black ABS. Carbon fiber components provide a visible woven finish, while glossy black ABS products offer a smooth painted-style appearance at a different price point.

Installation style also varies. Add-on mirror covers attach over the original mirror housing, while replacement-style mirror covers require the factory outer cover to be removed. Front lips, diffusers, side skirts and larger spoilers may use existing mounting areas, automotive adhesive, screws or a combination of installation methods. Test fitting is recommended before drilling, bonding or completing the final installation.
